Orebic
Orebic is situated in the southwestern part of the peninsula
Pelješac at the foot of the mountain St. Ilija (961 m).
Orebic is the town of captains and seafarer. Its rich tradition
of navigation can be seen in the local museum of navigation.
On the nearby hill there is a Franciscan monastery from the
year 1470 with a wealth museum situated. From there the visitor
has an extraordinary outlook on the unique landscape.
The hundred years old pines and cypress, olives, agaves, wonderful
flowers, a very long period of sunshine and an unspoilt nature
are other characteristics of Orebic. Furthermore the city offers
long sandy beaches, small inlets and a crystal-clear sea for
tourists who are looking for the beauty of nature and recreation

Pelješac.

Kucište - Perna is situated 6 km west of Orebic and
has very beautiful beaches. Archaeological discoveries as
such from the Neolithic Age to the Iron Age were found in
Kucište - Perna.
A small gothic church at the cementary built in the XIV. century
as well as a baroque church built in 1752 can be visited by
tourists.
